A Mixed Reality Experience with
Shanghai Rowing Club
This project uses the form of an artistic calendar book to explore the complex first-person perspective experience of migraine pain, visually and emotionally representing different dimensions of pain through abstract composition of colorful shapes, book cover texture, calendar text design, and a series of head pictures with AR animation overlay. Each section present a category of pain caused by different reasons, and illustrate a unique use of colors, and AR animations, immersing viewers in fruitful sensations. By combining physical book design with AR, this project aims to call for attention and care to the often-overlooked painful experience of migraine sufferers. Its ultimate goal is to promote empathy and understanding, offering a visually engaging way for people to connect and empathize with the invisible struggle of migraine.
