The New Shell
A Portrait of Myself in a Cyber World
It is a 3D animation project focused on the theme of identity and self-awareness in a cyberpunk world. The project involves creating a model based on my own head, reimagining myself in a futuristic, cybernetic form. Through neon-lit visuals, mechanical textures, and digital aesthetics, the animation explores a fundamental question: if my physical appearance remains the same but is now artificial, does the "soul" within this synthetic shell still belong to me? The project reflects on the essence of individuality in an era of technological transformation.
The animation employs a sleek, high-contrast design with metallic and neon hues that capture the cyberpunk aesthetic. Dark backgrounds emphasize the glowing, vibrant elements, creating a striking visual contrast. The futuristic environment enhances the narrative, and the sharp, angular forms highlight the tension between the organic self and its artificial counterpart. A coherent and immersive style allows the audience to focus on the core question of identity while engaging with the visually dynamic world.

Final Animation
The final animation shows the reconstruction of the image of myself in the cyberpunk world. Here is the question: If the soul is placed in a new artificial body, will you still be "you"? At the end of the animation, my head said:" I am ready to accept my new shell." with a smile. Yet, the future of this transformed "me" remains an unknow answer—an open-ended journey into the unknown.
